Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in related culinary field
  • able to read, write and understand English
  • math and computer skills
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife skills
  • proficient in all reporting positions
  • Class II Gaming License
  • Washington State Health Card
  • Serve Safe preferred

Job Duties

  • Monitor overtime and staff motivation
  • oversee product consistency and make necessary modifications
  • monitor waste and over production
  • utilize leftovers and ensure proper rotation and quality control
  • train new employees
  • enforce safety policies and health department standards
  • perform clerical duties including payroll and staff files
  • maintain cleanliness and equipment maintenance
  • oversee all kitchen activities related to menu and staff
  • assume Chef responsibilities in their absence
  • create new daily specials and soups
  • coordinate service of food with room service
  • work closely with Executive Chef to achieve department goals
  • perform other duties as directed
