Job Requirements
- Class II license
- safe serve certificate
- constantly standing, hearing, seeing, mental alertness, eye/hand coordination and handling
- frequently talking, smelling, walking, balancing, reading, bending, reaching, wrist motion, twisting
- frequently lifting and/or carrying up to a maximum of 55 lbs. alone, including foodstuffs, pots and pans, for distances up to 300 feet
- occasionally stopping and tasting, pushing and/or pulling up to a maximum of 120 lbs. (kitchen carts are utilized to transport as needed)
- work indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes
- close spaces while working with others
- moderate noise levels
- exposure to food odors

- kitchen equipment knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of cooking experience
- capable of following directions
- good recall and memory
- able to read, write and understand English
- knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife skills
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking
- assist chefs and kitchen staff with meal preparation
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen
- handle kitchen tools and equipment safely
- follow food safety and hygiene standards
- assist with stock management and inventory
- support kitchen operations to ensure timely meal delivery
