Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school education
  • At least 2 years experience in food and beverage or hospitality management
  • OLCC certification and valid Oregon Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to stand for 6 or more hours and perform repetitive arm and wrist motions
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and evenings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree preferred associate degree in hospitality management business management or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or related industry
  • Experience leading teams providing guest service and solving problems
  • OLCC and Oregon Food Handler's Card
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Preferred POS experience
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and organize work effectively

Job Duties

  • Ensure each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment greeting and acknowledging every guest answering commonly asked questions and moving the guest through the service process promptly
  • Complete and or review all reports including daily reports variance reports monthly inventory budget and goals
  • Assist with special events and functions as per banquet event order forms
  • Promote positive employee engagement and maintain staff culture
  • Maintain positive communication with staff and management including daily staff huddles and pre-shifts
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staff training programs
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws including liquor laws employment laws OSHA and sanitation standards
  • Aid in cash handling and inventory management
  • Provide leadership in cost control and revenue enhancement
  • Attend managerial meetings and compile reports
  • Track employee training performance and maintain documentation
  • Utilize employee performance appraisals for development and improvement
  • Assist in development and implementation of outlet concept menu marketing and advertising plans
  • Maintain professional vendor relationships and stay informed of new products and promotions
  • Maintain proper cash handling procedures and general accounting
  • Handle fast-paced high-pressure environments while multitasking and organizing
  • Maintain a professional and personable appearance
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and reliable attendance
  • Complete reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors
  • Enforce mountain-wide policies found in the Employee Handbook
