Job Requirements
- Graduation from a standard four-year high school or GED or four year apprenticeship program or two year post secondary technical school
- Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in heating, cooling, ventilation or mechanical/building trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plasterer, painter, welder, machinist, mechanic or masonry work
- Certification from a federal EPA approved testing organization as a certified technician required by the Clean Air Act on refrigerant recycling may be required
- Ability to perform one 12 hour shift per week in security
- Must submit official transcript or diploma, training or licensure by closing date if not previously verified
- Detailed and complete application or resume required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Coordinate daily maintenance work orders with Building Grounds Manager
- Supervise inmate crew to complete maintenance tasks
- Maintain and repair boilers, HVAC, kitchen and dining hall equipment
- Perform groundskeeping including mowing and trimming
- Repair water lines and perform roofing
- Maintain water plant equipment, motors, and electrical systems
- Ensure perimeter fence security, perimeter lighting, and generator operation
- Perform one 12-hour security shift weekly
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines in repair work
- Perform other duties as assigned
