Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including sushi chef duties
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Experience in high-volume restaurant or sushi bar
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Adaptability to menu and schedule changes
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail in presentation and quality
- Creativity in sushi plating
- Willingness to train junior staff
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient knife skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and restaurant software
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive motion work for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be ServSafe or Food Handler certified
- Ability to work in high temperature environments
- Commitment to follow directions
Job Qualifications
