Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen or culinary setting
- culinary degree or equivalent training is preferred
- strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- passion for pastry arts and a desire to continuously learn and improve
- ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods following recipes and guidelines set by the pastry chef
- ensure all pastries and baked goods are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
- maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing maintenance or reporting issues as needed
- follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, conducting regular cleaning and inspections
- work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- mentor and train junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- participate in kitchen meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and standards
