Job Qualifications
- 3+ years as a Chef, Culinary Manager or Kitchen Manager
- Polished casual, upscale or fine dining experience
- Experience in a scratch kitchen environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of food cost control, labor cost management, and waste reduction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree is preferred
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to sustainability principles
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Job Duties
- Recruit and retain kitchen staff
- Train and develop culinary team members
- Supervise daily kitchen operations
- Lead efforts to increase sales and guest satisfaction
- Maintain quality of food and service
- Manage food cost, labor cost, and waste
- Prepare financial reports and ensure profitability.
