Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three or more years as a Chef, Culinary Manager or Kitchen Manager
  • experience in polished casual, upscale or fine dining preferred
  • experience in scratch kitchen preferred
  • stable job history
  • knowledge of food cost, labor cost and waste management
  • ability to withstand temperatures of 30 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to be on feet and move throughout restaurant up to 10-12 hours a day
  • ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs for distances up to 10 feet

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience as a Chef, Culinary Manager or Kitchen Manager
  • experience in polished casual, upscale or fine dining settings preferred
  • experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred
  • stable employment history
  • culinary degree preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Recruit and retain culinary and kitchen staff
  • train and develop the team
  • supervise kitchen operations and lead staff
  • drive sales growth through quality and guest service
  • maintain high operational standards and food quality
  • manage profitability including food cost, labor cost, and waste management
  • oversee financial reporting and performance metrics
