Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Chef, Culinary Manager, or Kitchen Manager
  • Experience in polished casual, upscale, or fine dining preferred
  • Experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred
  • Stable job history
  • Ability to withstand temperatures from 30 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to be on feet and move throughout the restaurant up to 10-12 hours a day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs for distances up to 10 feet

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a Chef, Culinary Manager, or Kitchen Manager
  • Experience in polished casual, upscale, or fine dining environments preferred
  • Experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food cost control, labor cost, and waste management

Job Duties

  • Recruit and retain kitchen staff
  • Provide training and development opportunities
  • Supervise kitchen operations and lead the culinary team
  • Drive sales growth through menu quality and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure consistent quality of food and service
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and waste to maximize profitability
  • Oversee financial reporting and support restaurant financial goals
