Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of experience in high-end restaurants, hotels or private clubs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Knowledge of scratch cooking techniques
  • Certification in food safety such as ServSafe
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle multiple kitchen stations efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years of experience in fine dining setting
  • Culinary arts degree desired
  • ServSafe certified or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detailed working knowledge of food service equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare high quality menu options that meet and exceed resident expectations
  • Prepare stocks, soups and sauces from scratch
  • Trim and portion proteins including beef, poultry and seafood
  • Work as line cook on all stations including sauté, grill, fry and cold
  • Produce menu items according to recipes
  • Work all shifts as assigned
  • Complete food tracking worksheets when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
