Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record in commercial sales
- Experience in pest control or related sectors highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to attend networking events and engage clients regularly
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial sales, preferably in pest control, facility services, building services, or related industries
- Strong understanding of professional B2B sales cycles
- Ability to engage confidently with business owners and decision-makers
- Excellent planning, territory management, and proposal-building skills
- Professional appearance, communication, and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Commercial pest control sales experience preferred
- Understanding of industry regulations such as food safety, sanitation, and audits preferred
- Experience selling multi-location or multi-year contracts preferred
- Familiarity with FieldRoutes or similar CRM preferred
Job Duties
- Conduct commercial inspections and assessments for businesses, facilities, and property groups as required
- Design tailored pest management programs based on industry compliance, sanitation, and risk thresholds
- Present contract options to decision-makers with a consultative, value-driven approach
- Develop multi-location and multi-year contract opportunities
- Prepare proposals and pricing aligned with company standards
- Prospect high-value commercial segments such as restaurants, hospitality, property management, warehousing, retail centers, healthcare, schools, government, and institutional accounts
- Attend and engage at chamber of commerce events, BNI and professional networking groups, industry trade shows, and property management association events
- Maintain an active commercial pipeline with consistent outreach activity
- Log inspections, notes, and progress through CRM systems
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets for commercial programs
- Collaborate with operations to ensure service expectations are aligned with contract requirements
