Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to work 3rd shift
- Must have at least 12 months of verifiable 16ft-26ft box truck driving experience in the last 3 years
- A good driving record including none of the following: reckless driving
- DUI/OMVI
- hit and run
- excessive speed as defined by DOT (15 plus miles over)
- no preventable accidents
- no more than two moving violations within the last 24 months
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work and drive in all types of weather
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Excellent and prompt attendance each day scheduled
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable 16ft-26ft box truck driving experience in the last 3 years
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to work 3rd shift and rotate weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Job Duties
- Operate a company provided CMV
- Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload and deliver to customer specifications and obtain required customer sign offs
- Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers
- Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy
- Complete DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)
- Follow safety and lifting protocols during deliveries
- Maintain delivery logs and records
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
