Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Proven ability to manage and develop culinary teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards including EcoSure compliance
  • Familiarity with payroll, inventory management, and food cost controls
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Resilience in managing stressful, high-volume situations
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a chef in a full service, high-volume restaurant
  • Advanced knowledge of financial aspects of restaurant operations

  • Self-motivated and caring leadership style

Job Duties

  • Open and close kitchen line performing precise line checks and facility walks
  • Conduct EcoSure with proper documentation to adhere to company standards and address deficiencies
  • Manage high volume service periods from expo or wheel position ensuring food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams, participate in EcoSure and health inspections to maintain safe production environments
  • Hire, develop, schedule, and manage back of house employees ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards
  • Partner with Executive Chef on P and L management to optimize food cost, labor, and inventory control
  • Assist in ordering and invoicing of inventory with consistent communication with FOH team
