Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of chef experience in full service, high volume restaurant
  • knowledge of financial management in restaurant operations
  • ability to manage and develop a team
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to perform under pressure
  • compliance with health and safety regulations

  • minimum 3 years of experience as a chef in a full service, high volume restaurant

Job Duties

  • Opens and closes the line
  • performs precise line checks and facility walks with proper documentation to adhere to company standards and addresses any deficiencies
  • runs high volume service periods from the expo or wheel position to ensure food quality and presentation is up to standards
  • performs with BOH and FOH teams, participating in all EcoSure and health inspections to maintain a safe production environment
  • responsible for hiring and development of back of house employees, managing schedules and reporting payroll hours in compliance with company standards and state laws
  • partners with Executive Chef on managing P&L to maximize profits through food cost management, labor, inventory control and restaurant performance
  • assists in ordering and invoicing of products
  • communicates consistently with FOH team to ensure adherence to guidelines
