Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality management or culinary arts
  • Substantial culinary or hospitality experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Pro Chef II certification preferred
  • Food safety certification required
  • Minimum of ten years culinary leadership experience
  • Fifteen years food production and management experience
  • Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to lead and mentor diverse culinary teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ten years experience in a similar culinary leadership role in luxury hospitality or large multi-outlet operations
  • Fifteen years of food production and management experience
  • Proficient with POS technology and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality Management or Culinary arts
  • Certification as a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Pro Chef II through recognized institutions preferred
  • Food safety certification
  • Proven ability to lead and develop large culinary teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to innovate menu offerings while honoring tradition

Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of all food production including à la carte dining, banquets and catering, pastry, and employee meals
  • Ensure consistent culinary quality, efficient kitchen operations, and adherence to production standards
  • Lead and develop the culinary team including Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chefs, and Pastry Chef
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager/COO and club leadership to maintain high culinary standards and operational alignment
  • Build a positive team culture through engagement, training, coaching, and accountability
  • Plan and run multiple simultaneous food and banquet events across various club locations
  • Maintain and enforce food safety and OSHA compliance standards
  • Manage menu planning, pricing, and innovation with seasonal and member-preferred selections
  • Oversee budget preparation and monitor food, labor, and operational costs to meet financial goals
  • Foster strong vendor relationships and negotiate quality products at competitive prices
  • Engage regularly with members to gather feedback, accommodate requests, and enhance dining experiences
  • Host team meetings to communicate expectations and club activities
  • Implement measures to reduce waste, theft, and maintain inventory control
