Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Valid food handler’s certification
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
  • Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu development
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and OSHA regulations
  • Financial acumen in food and labor cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Develop, test, and implement menus ensuring consistent quality, flavor, and presentation for various restaurant concepts within the casino
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff including chefs, cooks, and assistants
  • Manage daily kitchen activities including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards
  • Control food and labor costs, manage inventory, minimize waste, and order supplies to meet budget targets
  • Work to achieve excellent guest experiences through high-quality food and service while embodying brand standards
