Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
- Valid food handler’s certification
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in menu development
- Leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of food safety and OSHA regulations
- Financial acumen in food and labor cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Develop, test, and implement menus ensuring consistent quality, flavor, and presentation for various restaurant concepts within the casino
- Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Manage daily kitchen activities including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Control food and labor costs, manage inventory, minimize waste, and order supplies to meet budget targets
- Work to achieve excellent guest experiences through high-quality food and service while embodying brand standards
