Job Requirements
- Two years experience as an executive chef
- five years culinary experience in relevant high-end settings
- culinary arts certificate or degree preferred
- ServSafe and food safety handler certifications
- strong financial acumen
- computer literacy including Microsoft Office and POS systems
- flexibility to work varied schedules
- excellent leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience as an executive chef in a high-volume industry-leading concept
- five years culinary experience in premium services, high-end restaurants, country clubs, or established catering and event companies
- certificate or degree in culinary arts preferred
- ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications required
- strong financial and computer skills
- experience with P&Ls, budgeting, Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems
- proven leadership ability to influence behavior and performance
- ability to work a flexible schedule
Job Duties
- Hire, train, and mobilize kitchen and service teams
- develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures
- determine purchasing specifications and budgetary allotments for all menu items
- prepare operational reports highlighting progress and adverse trends with recommendations
- maintain knowledge of and compliance with all company and health department policies, regulations, and standards
- manage company invoice tracking, labor tracking, schedule preparation, food cost management, labor cost management, inventory control
- enforce hiring, counseling, and termination policies
