Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • four or more years of supervisory experience in culinary settings
  • current ServSafe Certification
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to inspire and lead a team
  • knowledge of HACCP protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Years of experience as a talented chef in a customer-oriented high-volume dining venue
  • natural ability to lead with four or more years in a supervisory role
  • possession and maintenance of ServSafe Certification
  • strong culinary skills and creativity
  • effective leadership and team management skills
  • deep understanding of food safety and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Design delectable menu items that are pleasing to the palate
  • create specialty items that differentiate each dining venue and community events
  • inspire, train and coach culinary team promoting a positive team approach
  • monitor all food preparation including storage and handling to ensure freshness and safety protocols are followed
  • maintain compliance with HACCP food safety standards
  • manage multiple priorities in a high-volume dining environment
  • oversee food quality and presentation standards
