Job Requirements

  • must pass criminal background check and drug test
  • 3+ years of experience managing dining services in restaurants, banquets, or long-term care settings
  • experience managing budgets
  • culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ordering software
  • must be over the age of 21
  • English language proficiency

Job Duties

  • oversee kitchen and wait staff while managing budget and inventory
  • recruit and maintain kitchen staff
  • lead and inspire excellent customer service for residents
  • ensure meals are served with an appetizing and attractive presentation
  • create and maintain the schedule for the dining services team
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
  • plan and direct all food preparation and service in accordance with company standards
  • adhere to all state and federal regulations for long-term care communities
  • handle event planning for special events
  • collaborate with health services to provide dining support for residents with specific dietary needs
