Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc
  • ability to implement and coordinate culinary functions
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety and workplace safety standard compliance
  • working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
  • ability to conduct audits and create action plans
  • preferred experience with KRONOS

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc
  • knowledge of KRONOS is preferred
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP
  • experience with inventory control and food cost analysis
  • ability to implement and coordinate culinary functions effectively

Job Duties

  • provide culinary leadership including menu planning, program execution, staff management and training
  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems
  • be responsible for food management and scheduling
  • monitor, audit, implement and standardize new menus
  • conduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings and update GC audit books
  • be responsible for Food and Physical Safety and annual training for all hourly associates
