Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services
  • ability to lead and mentor culinary staff
  • strong culinary knowledge and skills
  • commitment to quality food preparation and presentation
  • positive attitude and teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
  • demonstrate strong all-round culinary ability and craft skills in main courses, salads, sauce work, pastry and baking
  • apply strong knowledge of food and cook using multiple styles of cuisine
  • recognize and react to contemporary food trends
  • use correct food terminology and cooking methods
  • constantly seek new recipes, ideas, and initiatives to improve food quality and service
  • play a key role in mentoring culinary personnel enthusiastically
