Job Requirements
- Passion for culinary arts with a desire for creativity
- prior experience with country club, restaurant, and/or retirement living dining
- experience supervising and training a culinary team
- good financial acumen and strong computer skills
- enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of people
- positive approach to tasks with can-do attitude and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 2 years management experience
- minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- good financial acumen
- strong computer skills
Job Duties
- Develop and execute innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to resident preferences and dietary needs
- ensure rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met and exceeded
- lead, mentor, and engage culinary and utility staff to foster a positive, resident-focused culture
- plan and execute special events and chef dinners, providing elevated dining experiences that delight residents and guests
- collaborate closely with wellness and care teams to support resident health and satisfaction
- manage inventory, budget, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and quality
