Job Requirements

  • Passion for culinary arts with a desire for creativity
  • prior experience with country club, restaurant, and/or retirement living dining
  • experience supervising and training a culinary team
  • good financial acumen and strong computer skills
  • enthusiasm for working with a diverse set of people
  • positive approach to tasks with can-do attitude and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • good financial acumen
  • strong computer skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to resident preferences and dietary needs
  • ensure rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met and exceeded
  • lead, mentor, and engage culinary and utility staff to foster a positive, resident-focused culture
  • plan and execute special events and chef dinners, providing elevated dining experiences that delight residents and guests
  • collaborate closely with wellness and care teams to support resident health and satisfaction
  • manage inventory, budget, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and quality
