Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of high-volume culinary management experience
  • Working understanding of business operations and financials
  • Ability to work ten-hour plus shifts
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Finger and hand dexterity to operate kitchen tools
  • Ability to withstand changing temperatures, smoke, steam, and heat
  • Possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to detect emergencies and food quality

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of high-volume culinary management experience
  • Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials
  • Solid track record of career growth and success
  • Culinary school background is a plus
  • Experience with POSitouch, Crunchtime, and Open Table is a plus
  • Ability to work long shifts including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
  • Physical ability to handle lifting up to 50 pounds and operate kitchen machinery
  • Strong sensory abilities for food quality and emergency detection

Job Duties

  • Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
  • Demonstrate superior ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends
  • Manage labor cost, food cost, and other controllable costs to help meet financial goals
  • Execute mastery of receiving and storage standard procedures
  • Run volume shifts either from expo or lead kitchen position
  • Manage on-the-fly requests creating a calm and positive work environment
  • Foster continuous learning, open feedback, and corrective action
  • Run the restaurant as if an owner
