Job Requirements

  • Cooking experience of at least 3 years
  • Leadership experience of at least 1 year
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Available to work night shifts
  • Must work in person
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a chef, sous chef, or kitchen manager in a restaurant or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and food service techniques
  • Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure
  • Must have or be able to obtain a food safe handlers license
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and some holiday hours as needed

Job Duties

  • Develop and create features that are innovative and appealing to customers and also reflect seasonal trends and popular culinary trends
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Oversee food service operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of meals
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel
  • Monitor inventory levels and responsible for all kitchen orders included but not limited to food, dry goods, chemicals, and small wares
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing menu items
