- Proven culinary experience on cruise ships
- Strong English language proficiency
- Able to work on an expedition vessel
- Experience managing teams
- Valid medical clearance for maritime employment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef on cruise ships
- Strong international culinary knowledge
- Ability to manage kitchen teams effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in maritime environments
- Excellent English communication skills
- STCW certified
- Experience in menu creation and food costing
Job Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations and manage culinary staff
- Design and implement diverse international menus suited for expedition guests
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards on board
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards
- Manage inventory and procurement of food supplies
- Collaborate with management to enhance guest dining experiences
