Job Requirements

  • At least six years of progressive culinary experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
  • Experience with budget statements
  • Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia PA
  • Willingness to participate in special event planning
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a culinary team

  • Ability to develop and standardize recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience in both restaurant and catering operations

Job Duties

  • Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process including purchasing food specifications meal preparation service and sanitation
  • Developing standardized recipes and utilizing production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met
  • Participating in the planning and execution of special events
  • Managing kitchen staff and coordinating schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring inventory and controlling food costs
  • Collaborating with event planners and other departments
