  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring and training hourly team members

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to tolerate long periods standing
  • Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Lead the kitchen team by embodying bartaco's core leadership principles and touchstones
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring seamless execution of service and operational standards
  • Ensure consistent execution of bartaco's culinary standards
  • Maintain deep knowledge of recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Manage inventory including ordering, tracking, analyzing average ticket times (AVT), and resolving issues proactively
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
  • Assist the General Manager in optimizing kitchen operations and team alignment
  • Monitor taste, presentation, and quality to meet bartaco standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team focusing on teamwork and accountability
  • Manage communication and execution of rollouts ensuring team readiness
  • Conduct daily pre-shifts that are informative and motivating
  • Demonstrate business acumen by managing financial performance including budgeting and cost control
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to uphold exceptional service and operational excellence
