Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in high-volume, upscale kitchens
  • Proven leadership experience in culinary team management
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards including ServSafe certification
  • Ability to design innovative menus with cost control
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

  • Proven experience 4-6 years in high-volume, high-caliber kitchens
  • Leadership skills with ability to mentor, motivate, and build strong teams
  • Culinary creativity with flair for designing unique, guest-pleasing menus
  • Business acumen with strong command of budgets, labor, and cost control
  • Hands-on presence leading by doing and setting the standard for excellence
  • Adaptability to be calm under pressure and resourceful in fast-paced environments
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Spanish language skills a plus

Job Duties

  • Set the tone in the kitchen by leading and mentoring Sous Chefs and BOH staff
  • Drive consistency and excellence in food preparation, presentation, and quality
  • Design and evolve menus that balance creativity, seasonality, and cost effectiveness
  • Ensure meals are produced on time and at the highest standard every time
  • Build, train, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team
  • Manage food and labor costs, keeping a sharp eye on budgets while fueling innovation
  • Oversee all back-of-house operations, from inventory to vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive sales through standout culinary experiences
