Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of culinary experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in culinary management preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven skills in multitasking
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years culinary experience
  • Preferably at least 2 years in a management role
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Capable of streamlining team objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and management practices
  • Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework
  • Ensure adherence to culinary standards, techniques, and presentation guidelines
  • Manage culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff to uphold food quality
  • Train and supervise kitchen employees in best food production practices
  • Coach and motivate employees by communicating clear goals and methods
  • Recognize and reward staff performance
  • Conduct team meetings and daily operational huddles
  • Maintain staff records such as training documentation and shift checklists
  • Develop and sustain client and guest relationships
  • Interact regularly with guests to enhance customer experience
  • Track and share culinary and ingredient trends regionally
  • Achieve food and labor cost targets consistently
  • Monitor performance metrics, data, and inventory trends for margin improvement
  • Execute daily menu plans efficiently
  • Maintain food quality and safety in compliance with Aramark standards
  • Implement Operational Excellence principles including waste reduction and standardization
  • Oversee supply chain and procurement ensuring authorized suppliers
  • Maintain knowledge and application of Food Framework
  • Accurately estimate food consumption for requisitions
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Comply with food safety, quality assurance, occupational and environmental policies
  • Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and labor regulations
