Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef with expertise in Japanese cuisine
  • Experience in a scratch kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Location in Raleigh, NC at O-Ku Raleigh

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations at O-Ku Raleigh
  • Develop and innovate authentic Japanese cuisine menus
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing culinary team
  • Manage food preparation and presentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory control and cost management
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the overall guest dining experience
