Job Requirements

  • high school diploma
  • must be able to push pull and lift 50 lbs
  • available to work weekends evenings and or holidays
  • must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of food and beverage or event leadership experience preferably in a luxury resort environment
  • experience with Micros and Delphi systems

Job Duties

  • Understand and respond to guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • make Catering and Events Services Manager aware of guest comments and challenges
  • act to ensure guest satisfaction with banquet service including previewing event orders and overseeing service to VIP tables
  • greet guests courteously and professionally
  • verify room setup with Banquet Operations Manager
  • ensure proper execution of banquet functions including setup and breakdown
  • assign side-work and breakdown duties to banquet staff
  • maintain cleanliness and care of tableware and equipment
  • ensure banquet equipment is in good working order
  • maintain cleanliness standards of equipment and work areas
  • conduct pre-service meetings with banquet setup team
  • check that liquor cabinets are locked
  • inspect banquet rooms daily and report maintenance issues
  • report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
  • ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety rules
