Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience
- High school diploma and six years of relevant experience
- Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience

- Bachelor's degree in event management or performing arts production preferred
- Management or leadership experience including event planning preferred
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including public speaking and presentations
- Ability to efficiently identify and resolve problems
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and shifting priorities
- Customer service experience in event services or venue management
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of university rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Job Duties
- Input rental and sponsored event estimates into Shiftboard
- Publish monthly shifts and broadcast to staff that shifts are assigned and/or available for sign up
- Assign support staff to shifts they have signed up for
- Support last-minute shift coverage for unfilled staffing needs
- Monitor technical staff communication line for shift callouts
- Participate in hiring process of new event staff
- Process daily timecards
- Check and resolve adherence discrepancies
- Ensure proper contract codes and labor types for event reconciliation
- Track hours worked by foreign exchange students for limits
- Provide direct supervision of Patron Services Coordinator
- Oversee volunteer scheduling
- Oversee receptionist area scheduling
- Purchase volunteer snacks as needed
- Provide front-of-house coverage when needed
- Assist with coordination of logistics for school shows
- Provide continuous training for Manager on Duty
- Serve as member of Safety and Security team
- Perform other duties as assigned
