Job Requirements
- Must meet any minimum age requirements as per company and local regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and/or weekends, based on event schedules
- Ability to thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and potential distractions
- Proficiency in reading and writing clear and concise notes and communications
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable moving around the facility and standing for extended periods
- Ability to walk or stand for the majority of your shift
- Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform light cleaning tasks as needed to ensure event spaces are presentable
Job Qualifications
- A naturally friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to smile frequently and genuinely
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple event projects simultaneously
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in event sales or hospitality preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Craft extraordinary event experiences by understanding each client’s unique needs and suggesting the perfect combination of food, beverages, games, and entertainment within our dynamic environment
- Keep your direct supervisor informed about all event-related matters, potential challenges, and proactively propose solutions or alternative strategies to ensure seamless execution
- Provide prompt and accurate service to event planners and guests, managing timelines, communicating essential details, and acting as their dedicated point of contact throughout the planning process and during the event itself
- Greet potential event clients with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, showcasing our venue and the exciting possibilities for their event
- Actively listen to client requests, answer inquiries comprehensively, offer insightful recommendations based on our event packages and capabilities, and tailor solutions to exceed their expectations
- Coordinate with various internal teams (e.g., food & beverage, games, operations) to ensure all aspects of the event are flawlessly executed
- Ensure event clients and their guests have a fantastic experience from start to finish, proactively addressing any concerns and inviting them to consider Dave & Buster's for future events
