Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- authorized to work in the United States
- physically able to walk for extended periods
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- part-time availability primarily nights and weekends
- able to work Fridays and Saturdays until 2:00 AM
- flexibility to work additional shifts during peak event periods
Job Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented under pressure
- excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- physically able to walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- previous event or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Serve as the on-site representative of the Mellwood Art Center during events
- greet and direct guests to their designated event spaces
- ensure event setup aligns with client contracts and venue standards
- monitor up to five events at once, responding promptly to any issues that arise
- restock essential supplies and perform light maintenance as needed
- communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and guests to resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- document and report any incidents or facility issues to management
