Job Requirements

  • High school degree required
  • previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and holidays
  • strong customer service skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • capability to handle unexpected situations calmly
  • willingness to assist with special projects

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hotel is preferred
  • highly developed customer service skills
  • effective business writing and presentation skills
  • ability to work with clients to determine and anticipate needs of the event
  • ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
  • previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred
  • high school degree required
  • Hilton operating system and Delphi experience preferred
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Assist Event Manager during planning and execution of banquet events
  • maintain filing systems according to SOP
  • establish rapport with banquet clients and function as liaison
  • complete and distribute Banquet Event Orders, diagrams, and group resumes
  • execute special projects assigned by Director of Sales and Event Manager
