Job Requirements
- minimum of one year professional experience in event coordination and/or event management
- experience working directly with customers and providing customer service in-person, via telephone, and/or via email
- bachelor's degree preferred
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- strong communication skills
- knowledge of event management software platforms preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of one year professional experience in event coordination and/or event management
- experience working directly with customers and providing customer service in-person, via telephone, and/or via email
- familiarity with event management software platforms such as EMS, Mazevo, 25Live preferred
- strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- excellent interpersonal communication skills with a customer service mindset
- demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide array of customers and stakeholders
Job Duties
- Monitor and process event-related transactions and event data and records
- greet customers and guests, assist with registration, answer questions, and refer complex issues to appropriate entities
- communicate with customers to determine event details and requirements, evaluate requests, recommend service plans and pricing, and provide status updates
- assist with planning and creation of promotional materials and resources for events
- schedule logistics and secure resources for all aspects of events including space, vendors, and staff
- coordinate details and resolve operational issues
