Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- must be at least 21 years of age
- one year of transportation experience
- bilingual in English and Spanish based on service area and population
- valid Texas driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- ability to meet agency insurance provider guidelines as an approved driver and maintain a good driving record
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- ability to board and un-board infants, toddlers, and adolescents and physically secure safely in the company vehicle with car seats as needed
- clear verbal communication skills
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- ability to use good judgment and think quickly in difficult and stressful situations
- proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Duties
- Safely transport unaccompanied children to and from scheduled activities and appointments using safety protocols such as DOT safety measures
- use safety protocol to enter and exit unaccompanied children from the vehicle
- assist with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
- conduct pre-and-post trip operational and safety inspection of vehicle and immediately notify management if vehicle does not meet operational or safety standards
- clean and maintain cleanliness of vehicle before and after each transportation
- record mileage for all travel
- ensure all vehicle and mileage logs are accurately maintained as well as the confidentiality of unaccompanied children according to HIPPA
- inform Senior Transporter of any daily, weekly, and monthly changes to the transportation schedule
- report all incidents and accidents to senior transporter in a timely manner according to agency policies and licensing standards
- assist with the evacuation of unaccompanied children during an emergency, inclement weather, natural disaster, or unforeseen occurrences
- escort unaccompanied children during scheduled flights, ensure safety, verify proper identification before release to verified sponsor
- complete and submit all receipts and release forms after each scheduled flight
- exhibit professional behavior and a positive attitude with internal and external clients reflecting agency policies and practices
