Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in nonprofit development or event coordination
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with CRM and event management software
  • ability to create social media content and scheduling
  • excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • willingness to work evenings and weekends for events
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit development, community engagement or fundraising event coordination
  • demonstrated success in event execution, volunteer coordination and/or management of third-party fundraising initiatives
  • experience in nonprofit communications or marketing support preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • familiarity with CRM and event software such as Greater Giving and Raiser’s Edge NXT
  • experience with design platforms such as Canva
  • proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong interpersonal abilities
  • genuine community-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Collaborate in the planning and day-of execution for all logistical aspects of signature fundraising events
  • manage vendor relations
  • develop run-of-show timelines
  • track procurement and coordinate auction items
  • oversee registration processes
  • recruit and manage event-day volunteers
  • support budget and revenue tracking alongside the Executive and Development Directors
  • identify, cultivate, and serve as the primary contact for third-party fundraiser hosts
  • review applications and respond to inquiries for third-party events
  • represent the organization at third-party fundraisers
  • own and report on third-party event revenue goals
  • serve as lead liaison for event-specific volunteers
  • develop role descriptions and logistics plans for volunteer deployment
  • collaborate with the Director of Development on event communication plans
  • create and schedule event-related and third-party fundraising posts on social media platforms
  • support consistent branding and assist with campaign updates and event communications
  • provide logistical assistance for Giving Society recognition events and donor stewardship
  • coordinate Leadership Board activities including recruitment, development, and oversight of the Teen Board
