Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • two years of experience in a customer contact role
  • completion of AAA compliance training including RPST, TSAAC, lock-out, PSP, and battery service training
  • vocational technical automotive training or certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • ASE certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of two years experience in a customer contact role
  • vocational technical automotive training or certification preferred
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred
  • proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • knowledge of vehicle components and common causes of vehicle failure
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • problem-solving and listening skills to evaluate member safety
  • experience using technology such as computers and radios

Job Duties

  • Driving and operating service vehicles such as tow trucks and battery service vehicles
  • performing flat tire changes, lock-out assistance, and fuel delivery services
  • interacting with customers on-scene to build rapport, trust, and solve problems
  • leveraging sales skills to offer AAA products and services during interactions
  • using onboard computer, radio communications, and mapping systems
  • completing daily paperwork including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts
  • maintaining safety awareness and responding appropriately to safety issues
