Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current NYS Department of Health paramedic certification
- Current NYC REMAC paramedic certification
- Class D driver's license with safe driving record
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- On-site presence required
- Must live within commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current NYS Department of Health Paramedic Certification
- Current NYC REMAC Paramedic Certification
- Valid Class D driver's license with a safe driving record
- Recent 911 paramedic experience within the prior 24 months preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
Job Duties
- Provide immediate and effective care to ill or injured patients
- Perform patient assessments and administer advanced life support treatments
- Safely transport patients to appropriate medical care facilities
- Adhere to all New York State Department of Health, New York City REMAC, and NYP EMS policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient care records and documentation
- Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency response teams
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
