Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program
- hold current and unrestricted licensure for the state of California
- possess valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- ability to work various shifts including nights
- commitment to high-quality patient care
- willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development
- ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Job Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- current and unrestricted state licensure to practice
- certification in emergency medicine or relevant specialty preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- prior emergency department experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply
Job Duties
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to provide comprehensive emergency care
- perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment in the emergency department
- manage acute and high acuity medical conditions
- utilize clinical management tools and electronic medical records (Cerner EMR) efficiently
- participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- provide education and mentorship to new graduates and colleagues
- maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
