Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license for 3+ years
  • minimum age 21 (mandatory)
  • excellent driving record
  • no suspended or revoked driver’s licenses, permits, or privileges in any state/county (mandatory)
  • no moving violations or preventable accidents in the past three years
  • no DWI, DUI, or related convictions
  • no felony convictions
  • pass a background screening and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check at time of entry and on a periodic basis
  • high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license for 3+ years
  • excellent driving record
  • minimum age 21
  • ability to read and follow a road map
  • ability to work without direct supervision
  • ability to meet company and regulatory driving record requirements
  • attention to detail
  • strong customer service orientation
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Gathers appropriate paperwork for deliveries
  • uses manifest to ensure the most efficient delivery route and schedule
  • completes and documents inspection of vehicle per requirements (pre- and post-trip)
  • responsible for content, condition, and securing of cargo/product within truck for delivery
  • delivers product to store locations accurately, safely, and on time
  • unloads customer orders at store locations
  • adheres to traffic/safety laws and H-E-B policies
  • maintains cleanliness of vehicle
  • reports maintenance problems
  • returns reusable items
  • additional duties as assigned
