  • dumpling experience not required but a plus if dough or pastry experience is present

Job Duties

  • Prepares, measures, and cuts dough
  • rolls dumpling and bun skins
  • stuffs, closes, and arranges dumplings and buns in a steamer
  • adds meat and allergen identifiers
  • steams dumplings and buns
  • maintains a clean working space and dumpling room
  • labels all items in accordance with regulations and procedures
  • attends monthly staff and dumpling meetings
  • keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
  • organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
  • lifts and moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables up to 50 pounds
  • assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
  • maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures
