  • experience in dough preparation such as pastry or pizza dough is a plus
  • no prior dumpling experience required

Job Duties

  • prepares, measures, and cuts dough
  • rolls dumpling or bun skins
  • stuffs, closes, and arranges dumplings or buns in a steamer
  • adds meat and allergen identifiers
  • steams dumplings or buns
  • maintains a clean working space and dumpling room
  • labels all items in accordance with regulations and procedures
  • attends monthly staff and dumpling meetings
  • keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
  • organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
  • lifts or moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
  • assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
  • maintains confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures
