Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 plus years of driving experience preferably with shred trucks, box trucks, and route management
  • Valid Class B or higher driver’s license with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to obtain a medical card from a certified medical examiner
  • Compliance with all local, state, and federal driving regulations
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
  • Willingness to undergo mandatory immunizations and credentialing as required by customers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferably driving shred trucks, box trucks, and managing routes
  • Valid driver’s license Class B or above with an excellent driving record
  • Ability to obtain medical card by a certified medical examiner
  • Proficient in English sufficient to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate company equipment safely
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements

Job Duties

  • Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
  • Performs pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on assigned truck prior to leaving or closing for the day
  • Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up
  • Operates company equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk of injury and equipment damage
  • Complies with local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
  • Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable
  • Maintains high level of security when emptying consoles and collection totes ensuring documents are retrieved and containers are securely locked
  • Services accounts using handheld device ensuring consoles/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and accuracy of type and quantity verified
  • Manages assigned routes ensuring customer materials are collected and serviced timely and accurately
  • Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently in the best interest of the customer and company
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed
  • May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
