Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • prior experience in material handling or delivery assistance preferred
  • valid driver's license is a plus but not required
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • strong teamwork skills
  • dependable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in loading or warehouse work preferred
  • ability to operate hand trucks, forklifts, or electric pallet jacks is a plus
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • physical ability to handle manual labor tasks

  • attention to detail in recording inventory and damage

Job Duties

  • Loads and unloads materials from delivery trucks by hand, hand truck, forklift, or electric pallet jack as appropriate
  • rides inside the cab of delivery trucks during transportation
  • reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify materials or containers to be moved
  • loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit
  • conveys materials between trucks and designated loading or delivery areas
  • arranges products as per prearranged plans or management instructions
  • counts and records units moved, breakage, and spoilage on appropriate documentation
  • performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors
