Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum two years of heavy vehicle driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid HazMat endorsement
- Clean motor vehicle record no violations past 12 months less than 30 days old
- Meet Department of Transportation pre-employment requirements FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Pass new hire physical prior to start
- Willingness to travel up to 75 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two or more years of heavy driving experience
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- Valid Hazardous Materials endorsement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Clean motor vehicle record with no violations in past 12 months less than 30 days old
- Ability to operate basic computer software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with mobile devices like iPad or iPhone
Job Duties
- Coordinate the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers
- Accountable for all aspects of safe operations of vehicle and equipment used in transporting company and government owned assets
- Organize loads to minimize delivery times and reduce waste
- Make minor mechanical adjustments as required and maintain the cleanliness of equipment
- Safely transport tooling, material, and hardware between approved on-site and off-site locations
- Comply with Department of Defense security and clearance requirements during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle inspections
