Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL Class A
  • Minimum of one year commercial driving experience
  • Registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Pass road test
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs.
  • Able to work around major floral holidays
  • Ability to work any day of the week including weekends
  • Able to start as early as 12:30 am

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of one year commercial driving experience in any industry or commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Pass road test

Job Duties

  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
  • Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • Immediately report any and all safety hazards including repairs required
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • Ensure all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load and available to driver upon dispatch
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines
  • Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
  • Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times
  • Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required
  • Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
