Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver’s license
- Have at least 1-year driving experience
- Proficient in using GPS device
- Knowledge of or ability to understand state laws or practices pertaining to vehicle operation on state highways
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to keep accurate documentation
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Apply reasonable sound judgment
- Exhibit courtesy and professionalism
- Availability to work weekends, mornings, evenings, and overnight
- Ability to work in outside conditions including inclement weather, heat, and humidity
- Capacity for constant sitting while driving
- Physical ability to move objects and sustain physical support using abdominal and lower back muscles
- Coordination and stamina for constant movement
Job Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to keep accurate documentation
- Able to work effectively as part of a team

Job Duties
- Responsible for transporting consumers from their primary address to specified locations for training, other agency related services and recreational activities
- Record accurate mileage in state vehicle logbook when operated in order to complete assigned job tasks
- Maintain regular inspection of vehicle
- Assist, when needed, with cleaning and upkeep of the training center including supplies and maintenance of all vehicles
