- ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Job Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license
- acceptable driving record
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks
- at least one year experience driving commercially (preferred)
- knowledge of DOT rules and regulations (preferred)
Job Duties
- Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws
- complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment before and after each trip
- keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route
- handling multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high safety standards
- providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation
- adhering to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety
